Private send

What changes when a trade is sent privately, and what stays public.

2 min read

Add “privately” to a request, or switch on Private, and the signed trade skips any public queue and goes straight to the Robinhood Chain sequencer.

Turning it on

  • Press Private next to the chat box.
  • Or just say it: swap 0.8 ETH to USDG privately or make it private.

What changes

The private route moves to the front. It uses the same pools as the best route, defaults to 0.3% slippage instead of 0.5%, and your signed trade is sent to the Robinhood Chain sequencer. Robinhood Chain has no public mempool: trades are ordered as they arrive, so nobody sees yours waiting and trades against it.

What stays public

Private send only covers the moment before execution. After it is confirmed, the trade is a normal on-chain transaction tied to your address, visible on the explorer.
